GRATITUDE IS THE BEST ATTITUDE: Ways To Practice Gratitude

“When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.”
Lao Tzu

Being consciously grateful is essential to a happy life. It keeps you positive. Never forget that you get what you give, and being positive will bring you more positive things in life.

When you are grateful, you are basically tipping your hat to the Universe who in turn will be like, “wow, this person really appreciate the goodness in her/his life time, I’m going to send her/him some more! »

How exactly you accomplish this, is up to you; what is needed is simply to select at least one activity from the way of possibilities below:

THE GRATITUDE JOURNAL:

If you enjoy writing like me, if you are good at it or it feels natural to you, then a promising way to practice this strategy is with a gratitude journal.

Choose a time of day when you have a few minutes to step outside your life and to reflect: it may be the first thing in the morning, or during lunch or right before bedtime.
Write down 3 to 5 things for which you are grateful. By giving thanks for the 3 or 5 gifts every day, in few weeks, you may not look at your life in the same way as you might now.

You can make your gratitude journal fun and creative by adding photos, drawings, pasting a ticket from a great concert and even scrapbooking techniques.

EVERYDAY IS A GIFT:

Each morning when you wake up, reflect for a few seconds or minutes on all that you are grateful for in life. Think about the simplest of things such as your warm bed, the ability to see another day…Starting the day in gratitude helps to affirm the abundance that surrounds us, and if we continually think about this abundance, we will attract even more of it and feel uplifted.

EXPRESS GRATITUDE:

There are so many opportunities in life where we can send a simple thank you note, which could make someone’s day.

Think about who you can say thank you to either in person or in note. How about your postman, or partner, the waitress who served you breakfast, your friend, your parent or a neighbor? Show your gratitude whenever you are overflowing with appreciation. You will feel happier and the recipient of your gratitude will smile in deep appreciation.

POST WORDS OR PHOTOS OF GRATITUDE IN YOUR HOME:

This is a great way to get yourself started and keep yourself motivated. Place the items where you’ll see them often, and then let them remind you to stop and be grateful.

INCORPORATE GRATITUDE INTO EXERCISE OR MORNING ROUTINE:

Each morning when I exercise I practice gratitude. As I’m warming up for a workout I do some breading exercises to get me in the right mindset. Then I start to ponder all the things for which I am grateful. I do my gratitude practice in the form of a prayer, but you can just list them too.

When you learn how to practice gratitude, you will energetically raise your vibration and speed up the process of attracting more of what you desire.

There is NO BETTER way to do this than gratitude.

Just make sure you practice gratitude everyday. Create a routine that’s easy and suitable.
