7 Best Homemade Face Masks For Winter Skin Care:






Natural Face masks are one of the most ancient forms of beauty treatment to help maintain a smooth, silky and beautiful skin.

As you know, a lot of women complain from having a dry and un-attractive skin during winter. Even those who are consuming healthy food, drinking plenty of water and exercising, their skin need extra care.

The good news is, you don’t have to buy expensive beauty products or choose some specific winter care products to get the results you are looking for. You already have natural ingredients at home that are very effective in bringing back moisture on your skin, making it look young, nourished and glowing.

With that said, below is a list of some of my favorite homemade masks for winter dry skin, hope you like them…



1- BANANA MASK:




1 Banana

¼ Cup of plain yogurt

2 tablespoons of honey

Mash the banana and mix all the ingredients together.

Smooth over the entire face and neck and leave it for 15 minutes.

Rinse off with warm water then cold water.




2-AVOCADO MASK:




1 avocado

1 tablespoon of extra Olive Oil

Mash the fresh avocado with a folk, and add Olive Oil.

Apply on face and neck and leave for 15 to 20 minutes then rinse off.




3- CULTURED MILK MASK FOR DRY AND TIRED SKIN:




2 tablespoons of Natural yogurt

2 tablespoons of Buttermilk

2 tablespoons of Sour cream

Mix all the ingredients and leave on face for 15 minutes.

Rinse your face with cool water.





4-EGG WHITE MASK FOR OILY SKIN:




Smooth a beaten egg white all over your face and neck and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Rinse off with cool water.




5-OATMEAL MASK FOR DRY SKIN:




1 egg yolk

1 ½ tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of oatmeal powder

Mix all the ingredients together.

Keep the mask on your face for 20 minutes, and then wash with warm water.






6-PAPAYA MOISTURISING MASK:




1 Papaya peeled

1 teaspoon of Olive Oil

Place the papaya in a bowl and mash it with a fork until all lumps disappear.

Add olive oil then spread the mixture over neck and face.

Allow the mixture to remain for 20 minutes then rinse with warm water.

P.S: You can keep the rest of mixture in a container in the fridge for a week.

The mask can be used twice a week.




7-ALOE VERA MASK:




All you need is Aloe Vera gel.

Apply it on skin for 10 minutes everyday before you go to bed.

Rinse off then apply your favorite moisturizer.




BONUS

YOUTHENING MASK:



This magical mask will help to smooth and soften your skin, giving your face a fresher, more youthful appearance.


INGREDIENTS:

2 teaspoons of flaxseeds

¼ cup of water

1 tablespoon of Brewer’s yeast



Allow the seeds to sit in the hot water until gel is formed.

Add the Brewer’s Yeast - (Add more water if needed to make a soft pasty gel)-

Let it cool down, then spread the mixture over face and neck and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes.

Rinse with cool water.
